2006 Ford F-450 4x4 Ambulance/camper/toy hauler/utility truck :-)
Recently retired ambulance in excellent condition. Built on the 4x4 F450 chassis, this truck has an excellent turn radius (much better than the F-350"s) and go anywhere off road capability. It has the 6.0 Powerstroke diesel and I have maintenance records documenting a new turbo installed less than 500 miles ago.
This truck runs great and is ready for your conversion to camper, toy hauler, or whatever you can imagine. I"ve begun taking the stickers off and will probably be finished before the auction ends. All the lights work, as does the siren/PA and air horn. The gurney is included if you want it. It"ll make a good frame for a portable barbecue if you want to convert this into an awesome tailgating vehicle.
Ambulances have TONS of storage cabinets and cubbies, and are built like a vault. This is an excellent starting point for an off grid camper/overland trek vehicle. This was my plan, and I waited for an excellent condition 4x4 to come available before I bought. My plans for a toy hauler have become obe as my son totaled his car and needed a replacement.
It has the chrome wheel simulators, and the tires are decent. I was planning to swap them out for a little meatier off road tread, but the rears are definitely good for another 5000 miles, the fronts are better. Has a valid VA inspection through 11/19.
