2006 Freightliner Truck with Johnson Cold Plate Refrigerated Freezer Box.
Truck is a Freightliner chassis and is powered by a Mercedes diesel engine with 244,995 miles and runs well. Rated GVW 33,000lbs. Tires are in good shape. Air brakes, automatic transmission and air conditioning. The overall condition of the truck, box and mechanicals is good. There are some scratches and blemishes to the body from use as well as some rust. Part of the rear wheel well missing trim.
Equipped with insulated Johnson Truck Body and 6 cold plates running off dual compressors for electric shore power only, uses three phase, 208V power. E-track plates running throughout the truck to secure loads. Aluminum deck for easy clean. Side, ground level reach through door. Back door is 2/3 swing and will fit a pallet size or as an entry door. Poly thermal curtains installed to reduce temperature loss. Storage compartment on rear.
This truck started out as Ice Cream delivery. It currently is used primarily for ice cream storage with limited road use. We typically use this with a temperature of between -30 and -20°F. The temperature can be adjusted to continue to use as a freezer truck or as a refrigerated truck. When used on the road, the truck is disconnected from the power and will maintain freezer temperatures for about 24 hours or longer. Plug it in when you return or leave plugged in all the time for a mobile storage. Works as a mobile back up freezer or cooler. Could be great to hold items like ice for special events also. Use it for distribution of ice cream, meat, produce, etc.
