We recently closed a glass shop in Charleston, South Carolina and retired out to the country. This UD 1400 Nissan Diesel Glass Truck was used by our business, and now we find that we have no real use for it out here. The bit of glass work that we do here does not require the large glass truck. We originally purchased the truck from Coastal Glass Distributors, a glass distribution company in South Carolina. The truck"s odometer reads 99,081.
The 2006 Nissan UD 1400 Truck with Hino engine and glass rack is in good overall condition. The front bumper and front end are dented (see photos), one headlight is cracked, the plastic coolant reservoir is cracked up high but holds fluid fine, the air conditioning is not currently working because the belt recently broke and the Check Engine light is on. Since we now live in a very rural community there is no UD Nissan dealer in the area to run a diagnostic test on it. We"ve done a few things we could think to do without the proper diagnostic tool, including: checking fluids, changing the oil & oil filter and air filter. The truck still cranks right up, doesn"t smoke and runs great until it revs up to around 2000 RPM & then the computer then limits the RPM and will not allow it to rev higher. It drives about ~52 MPH at 2000 RPM with the check engine light on (Closer to 72 MPH when the light is off). The truck is equipped with a two sided glass rack that can accommodate different types of glass, windows, and other tall, thin materials. There are six braces included.
The truck is located near St George, SC and can be inspected upon request. Please don"t hesitate to ask questions or request specific pictures. We are glass-guys and accountants, not mechanics or car-people. We encourage you to ask questions, do your own inspection, or otherwise do your due diligence to make your own judgment on the condition of the truck.
This is Pick-Up only, and we are located near Saint George, South Carolina. A deposit of $500 is required through Paypal within 48 hours of auction close, and the remaining balance is to be paid with either a cashier"s check, wire, or cash at pick up within 7 days.
