2006 Volvo VNL 680 with D12 motor. 465 HP, 10 speed, 3.58 rears, 12k/40k axles, all alum. wheels, double bunk. 150 gallon tanks. My mechanic informed me that the top end looked to be redone when he took the valve cover off and the turbo was replaced at some point.
The truck started with 920k miles.
I do pm"s between 12k and 14k miles, I drive locally in the mid Atlantic and NE
    Getting 6.5 to 6.9 mpg.
I bought this truck used in 10/2014, it was gone over by my mechanic who was selling it. He installed new parts including: all aluminum radiator, timing cover gasket and seals, valve cover gasket, 2 brake chambers, new seal right front drive, ambient temp. sensor, air lines and glad hands, muffler stack, mud flaps and brackets, new mattress (that i have never slept directly on), and new Volvo drivers seat with massage.
I have detailed list and receipts of what I have installed on it since, through him or myself which includes the following:
Climate control cluster, PW and heated mirror switch, 4 ways, headlight, dimmer switches, fan clutch switch, air connector to fan clutch switch, air valve bolts and grommets, upper and lower radiator hoses, air to air hose, all new clamps and coolant.
Right front steer axles air bag, fire wall pass-through valve, drivers side interior lock, Passenger leaf spring, oil pan gasket, and work light on headache rack with interior switches, alt. belt, air tank drain valves, alt. belt tension pulley, all shocks, replaced the muffler, with new clamps, fuel filter housing, air dryer, passenger side air bag valve replaced, Replaced one steer tire last week and the other is still more then 50% , 8 drive tires are about 60%, checked alignment, 1200 watt power inverter installed, 150 amp breaker at battery, and HD power on/off switch, TV with mounting bracket, Passenger fuel tank repair by SK metal fabricators, tank strap protectors, Drivers and pass. side head lights replaced drivers side corner bumper replaced, both fog lights, front brakes (drums, shoes and kit, scam seals and bushings), 3 newer batteries, new starter, stainless flex pipe, new air bag right rear, cab shocks, control rod, cab mounts, heater hoses, camshaft sensor, and 2 EGR valves done by Volvo, air tube to turbo housing replaced, coolant expansion tank. Sirius and CB not included, chains, binders and coil racks also not included.
cc stopped working recently and there is a small leak on the front cover, about half gallon of oil every week. The truck is governed at 75mph which I had set. As off 3/26 and 1014405 PM was done, recent PASI, 4/24 installed front Monroe shocks, and 4/29 steering Hendrickson stabilizer shock. 5/07, new battery, and battery service. New engine coolant hoses and new coolant with filter. P/S cab air bag all done 5/16, 5/27 replaced # 1 fuel injector and repaired and replaced o-rings on 2 stage Jake brake. Set injectors and intake and exhaust valves. New rocker bolts also. Egr Cooler is now leaking, looking to get fixed soon.
