Selling my Volvo VNL670 Cummins ISX powered truck. It"s been a great truck, and made me alot of money without giving me much trouble. I completely replaced the engine in September 2015 with a NEW Cummins factory Recon ISX engine, part number is DR1680RX. To be clear, this was not an overhaul of original motor. It"s a completely brand new motor that was backed with a full Cummins warranty. I replaced the motor anticipating that it"d be the last truck I"d run until I retired. But my health had other plans, and I gave up the short haul contract I had. And now after some time I"m not going back on the road so I"m willing to sell it. Mileage on engine is 252,324. Mileage on chassis is 1,127,932. New parts in the last year and a half include all 4 batteries, starter, alternator, and windshield. It"s in good condition and runs like new. The only body rust is on the doors, surface rust is starting on the lower edge of the doors. Otherwise the body is rust free. This truck still has a lot of miles left in it! I"m tossing in my spare tires with the truck sale too. One drive tire, and one steer tire. Both are like new. Mattress is a memory foam model, and it"s clean. Also leaving in the CB Radio with external speaker, and it has an aftermarket AM/FM CD radio. Webasto bunk heater is in excellent working order. It has a 3.58 gear ratio. A staged engine brake. A Power passenger door window. A sliding 5th wheel. And all wheels are aluminum. It needs a few minor things to be great, but mostly nickel and dime stuff. A list of what I see below...-An air tank fitting sounds like it"s leaking. -One hood latch is not working, and cable should be replaced. -Paint and buffing needed on hood, and driver"s side skirt/ fairing. -An a/c line leading to rear bunk needs replacing. -I"d replace drive tires in the next 50,000 miles. Steer tires are fine. -And I think maybe the fan relay is starting to go. -I"d put some new shocks on rear just based on the looks of them. But seems to be working fine. There might be other little things I may have missed off the top of my head, but there"s nothing really majorly wrong with this truck. It"s been parked in my driveway since last year and I"ve driven it around my neighborhood every couple weeks to keep everything working in anticipation of me returning to an owner operator situation, but it"s not in the cards for me anytime soon.
