2007 Chevrolet Kodiak C5500, 2 wheel drive bucket man lift truck. The single man 300 lb basket on ETI boom reaches about 37" tall at your foot and rotates. The rear outriggers can lift the tires off the ground and are very stable. The truck runs and drives well thru all gears as it should. All new filters and fluids 8-1-18 for oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, air, transmission flushed, transfer case, rear differential, power steering. Both diesel tanks are full. The Pacific tool bed has lots of storage.
New urethane paint job on everything but the truck cab (polished and waxed). Diamond plate and bumper was media blasted to bare metal, remainder sanded with 80 grit for 2 days. Completely Primered then two coats of durable urethane automotive paint. New Led tail lights, safety and operator stickers. Pressure washed and degreased boom and truck"s suspension top to bottom, and then re greased.

Registered for another year at 20,000 lb capacity, for its 19,500 Gross vehicle weight rating. The title says 15,080 unladen weight.
The truck was first sold 3/2010 in Escondido to its 1 owner, a lighting maintenance company. Clean carfax report included, no accidents. I purchased it last month to recondition for resale. I"ve driven it about 50 miles and noticed 0 issues, it drives awesome.
My documentation from the CA EPA shows that this year 2007 engine is compliant in CA to the Air Resources Board thru January 1st, 2023. Good luck registering any truck older than this! This LMM engine type was used thru year 2011.
The primary bad issues with the truck we"ve noticed are the A/C doesn"t blow cold (needs new compressor), all tires but 1 are low on tread, rust on truck"s roof, driver door panel cracked, passenger mirror missing front reflector and mirror replaced with lower quality glass. Still works good.

Truck's paint cleaned up well, rust and dents on roof, minor bumps on front and rear bumpers, passenger side mirror was hit, reflector is gone, glass was replaced, still works and looks good. Double tool box door on right side front doesn't latch well and is held down with a nut.” |
