We have owned this truck for around five years and just recently replaced it with a new one. Truck is powered by a 6.0 powerstroke, engine had an EGR delete and a new oil cooler installed at ~110,000 miles. Engine just had a new injector and a full service at ~130,000 miles. Truck runs a drives well and currently has ~134,000 miles and ~2500 hours. New tires were installed on the rear about 25,000 miles ago and the fronts were just done 6,000 miles ago. The bucket is a UTEM 45" knuckle boom, PTO driven. Since we have owned the truck we had a hydraulic hose blow going through the extension part of the boom at ~1900 hrs. The hose was replaced and the extension cylinder was rebuilt while it was out, it didn"t need rebuilt we just did it while the truck was disassembled. A few weeks later the bucket controls started acting up and long story short the wiring used at the factory had insulation that was soluble in hydraulic fluid so we pulled it all apart again and replaced the top half of the bucket wiring harness. It has been this way for about four years now and every so often it glitches, but not often enough to warrant repair. The repair to make it totally go away would be replacing the lower boom harness as it too was probably affected by the hydraulic leak but like I said it only glitches about once a week using the truck for 8+ hours a day and its not near bad enough to worry about fixing to us. The power inverter recently went up but for the right price we would include a very nice functioning one, truck is wired with 120V AC from the inverter to the bucket. The body is fantastic on the truck and is the one thing well miss most about it. One side light is cracked and taped together but it works. A few interior body lights are burnt out and we no longer have any replacement bulbs in stock and are not buying any as we are selling the truck. Truck could go to work tomorrow open to offers. The power locks recently quite working, they are aftermarket and we believe the key fob battery may be dead. We will be investigating and may have the problem fixed before the auction is over.
