Just like most Ford 6.0 diesel engines, this one had injector issues.While we had it apart, we replaced several other known weak spots with these engines.EGR valveEGR controllerHigh pressure oil pumpStarterall new O rings and gasketsHigh pressure oil sending unitThere may be more, but I cant remember.It seems like we did the upper and lower ball joints also.
This truck is ready go anywhere. It runs and drives as good as the day it was new. All known and unknown issues we could think of were addressed.
We purchased this truck new in 2007 and use it daily, so the mileage may go up slightly. We keep our trucks inside (until we moved this one outside with a for sale sign), so the paint is still shiny. There are a few marks here and there that should be expected on any commercially used vehicle.
All in all, this is a clean low mileage truck that is ready to be put to work.
The only issue with the truck is that it will need tires. There is probably only 5 to 7000 miles left on the set that is on the truck.I have sold a few vehicles on EBay, and just like all of them, this one is offered at no reserve...
