Thank you for your consideration of this sharp 2007 F-550 bucket truck. This is the F-550 ford should have been making all along...It is powered by the venerable 7.3 liter Powerstroke. I purchased this truck at auction in Shreveport La with a bad 6.0 engine. It had been in the fleet of American Electric Power and was fleet maintained...this rig is a clean, rust free southern truck. I intended to have my shop guys replace the bad 6.0 with a used engine but I came across a 2003 F-550 4x4 with a 7.3 Powerstroke with only 145k miles wrecked in the rear. We discarded the box on the 2003, used the boom on another truck and transplanted the engine, transmission, under hood and under dash wiring harnesses, anti lock brakes, dash, instrument cluster, and ecu into the 2007 truck body. The 2007 had 141k miles on it. I have pictures or this process available. This rig has been fully serviced including an oil change with Rotella, all new filters, wiper blades etc. The brakes have been checked and have 70% pad left...the AC is ice cold...The 4x4 works great. The lift is an Altec A37G...it is insulated, has a 300 lbs bucket capacity, a 37 ft platform height, and a 42 ft working height. It is all hydraulic with a pistol grip upper control.
