Here is a 2007 Sterling Acterra Horton Ambulance for sale. It was used and owned by the Chatham Fire Protection District in central Illinois since new! This ambulance comes powered by the famous and very reliable Cummins ISC-260 260hp Diesel engine and an Allison Automatic Transmission with 145911 miles! The Cummins diesel engine was totally rebuilt by Crosspoint Cummins in Bloomington, IL. on 01/14/2014. All other components of the chassis operate as they should. The all-aluminum Horton ambulance box has no known issues. The vehicle is designed to serve for commercial needs for communities and businesses that provide Emergency Medical Services BUT can also be used or converted to many, many different things! It runs and drives and is ready for work! Stretcher is available for an additional negotiated price! This unit was just taken out of operation and still has some life left!
