2007 International 4400 Day Cab with DT466
Truck is a 2007 International 4400 with a DT466 engine and Spicer 7 speed transmission. Truck has 169k miles on it and 74,800 hours. 300 hp. New International turbo and new aftermarket EGR cooler. EGR valve has been deleted (no check engine light on). The way the system is designed, you cannot delete the EGR cooler. A/C works great, blows cold. Power windows work fine and power locks work fine. Radio works fine. Shifts great. No leaks - at least no spots on my driveway. All aluminum rims and all tires have great tread. GVRW is 34k. Truck runs great! I’d drive it across the country with no worries. See pic of oil analysis of when I purchased the truck.
Truck measurements are back of cab to center of rear axle is 6’2”. Back of cab to end of frame is 9’3”.
I purchased the truck from a beer distributor in Virginia. They are phasing out manual transmissions and this truck needed a EGR cooler. They chose to sell it without fixing it. Truck was fleet maintained. I took it to shop to have EGR cooler replaced. When they took the turbo off while working on truck, they advised me that the turbo internals were a bit “loose” and recommended I replace the turbo as well. When they replaced the turbo and EGR cooler, I asked them to delete the EGR valve while they were working on the truck. Shop owner told me I had the “good” DT466, that it is the 300 hp version. Truck has clean title and no lien.
Couple minor cons - windshield has a crack (see picture). You can see the front bumper is tweaked. I noticed while I was taking pictures, it could use a fuel tanks strap. Fuel filter light comes on and off at times. It has a new filter in it. Mechanic said it was the sensor on housing and International has obsoleted that sensor - otherwise, I would have replaced it too. Nothing wrong with fuel filter or assembly. Nothing mechanically wrong with this truck, just the couple minor cons listed.
I purchased the truck knowing the EGR cooler was bad and knew I would have to fix it. I had intentions of putting a flatbed on the truck with gooseneck ball and using it to pull my equipment with. I was planning on buying a bigger excavator than I already have and using this truck to pull it. Only reason I am is selling is because I am not buying bigger excavator now. I have an opportunity to go back to corporate America and the company offered me a salary I could not refuse. I do not need to sell the truck, so no lowball offers. It is listed for how much I have invested in it. I have all paperwork for the repair work done. I’d be happy to speak on the phone about truck. Message me and I’ll give you my number.
No warranty implied and truck is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end auction at any time. No shipping, but will assist with your shipper. Vehicle located in Jamestown, NC. $500 due within 24 hours after auction via paypal. Remaining balance paid via cash or certified check upon pickup.
