Truck will start and run. It was noted on inspection that there was an unidentified noise coming from rear of the truck. There was no indication that it kept the truck from driving but we always recommend to have a diesel shop take a look at it before driving it cross country. There are several shops close by depot where truck will be picked up. The motor in this truck by itself is worth $6500 as I just recently had to purchase one for a different truck we had in TN. Detroit indicated to me when I spoke with them last week that these motors are good to around 1.2-1.4 million miles before having to be overhauled.
