Thanks for checking out my posting. I am selling my 2007 Sterling Acterra 5500 Flat bed tow truck. Jerrdan rollback, with the wheel lift so you can haul two vehicles at a time. Comes with all equipment needed to do the job. I am basically selling this truck to upgrade to all 4wd trucks since we do mainly the mountain areas and need the 4wd trucks. I have owned this truck since 2013 and it has been a great truck. I think I have four payments left and it will be paid off which I am prepared to payoff when it sells. This truck has been maintained well but with any 10 year old trucks it has a couple of areas that will need attention. The A/C does not work. A mechanic up the street told me it was the line that goes to the compressor was leaking. We pulled the line off and could not find a leak in it. We never put it back on since in this area you really do not need A/C very often. I did protect the compressor with plugs as to not let dirt and moisture in. The power windows do not work and we have been so busy we have not had the time to check that out. The truck has a couple of cosmetic issues like a crack in the right fender and some damage on the right door where the driver caught the mirror on something. That"s all the bad. The truck is completely functional and everything else works as it should. The tires in the rear are new,the tries in the front are around 70%. I would not hesitate to take this truck anywhere. If I fix the A/C, the windows and the body work the price will have to go up. If it does not sell I will go ahead and fix it. I have the reserve set low so here is your chance to purchase a great medium duty Carrier. I have described this truck as best I can but probably forgot something.
