I"m a HUGE Hino fan and one of the main reasons I bought this truck is because I knew the previous owner and the truck"s maintenance history. Even though it"s a UD, it has a Hino 4 cylinder engine which delivers 11.7 mpg loaded and all the power you could want. Don"t be afraid of the mileage. Hinos go 500K with even marginal care let alone one like this that has been properly maintained. I purchased and equipped this truck for our AAA Battery Program but Club Assist pulled the plug on our contract so I"m selling this and two other specially equipped vehicles (an "06 Isuzu NPR and an "01 Chrysler Town and Country). This truck is nice in that it is A) 1/3 the cost of a Miller Industries 220 TSV, B) Versatile and C) Customer friendly for those times when AAA sends you out to jump start a vehicle that really needs a tow truck. New white paint, stickers are new vinyl and easily removed. 80/50 rubber, very dependable, all fluids recently serviced. In the last 6 months I have replaced the wheel lift pads, batteries, and AC compressor. Tunnel box and diamond plate tool boxes allow room for 30+ batteries plus normal towing equipment. In days of old, I would have kept this truck and the others in case AAA decided to change their mind, but the staggering cost of insurance makes that impossible.
