Here is our 2008 4x4 Dodge 5500 Wrecker with the 2008 Jerr-Dan MPL40 Wrecker bed. We bought this unit with only 6000 miles on it so basically it is practically a one owner truck ! This has been a great all around truck for every day towing and wreck recovery as well as repo jobs. It has the Cummins 6.7 L motor with the Aisin 6 speed transmission. We recently replaced both hub bearing assemblies on the front and we replaced the brakes all around. Also we did an exhaust filter delete and installed a tuner chip. The Goodyear tires are at 60 % of tread remaining and the simulators are new. It comes with 2 new J hook chains , wheel lift straps with ratchets and a Jerr-Dan motorcycle towing kit that attaches to the wheel lift. Also the Jerr-Dan wheel lift spacers for smaller or flat tires. It has the rear air ride suspension kit with compressor for heavier tows and in-cab remote with a rear view camera for Repo work.
We are selling this truck and our 04 FreightLiner M2 Rollback to make room for a couple of new units , These are good solid units that have been serviced and maintained very well and still have a lot of life but our accountant say it"s time to replace them to have something to depreciate .
