Here we have for you bidding is a 2008 Ford F-550 Four Door Super Duty Mechanics/Service truck powered by a 6.4 diesel engine and an automatic transmission with only 79000 miles. We had just purchased this truck and after driving it over 400 miles on the way back to our yard the engine started to make a tapping ticking noise. We had shut it down and checked the oil and it was fine. After letting it sit for about a half hour we started it up again and drove another half hour or so and the noise returned to a hard tapping light knocking noise. After that we had the truck towed the rest of the way to our construction yard. As of now the truck will start and move but the motor does have a knocking noise so we are selling it that way. As one can see by the pictures it is a rust free truck and is in very good condition, all lights and gauges are operational, tires and brakes are at or about 75% wear remaining, interior is in great condition also. We are selling the truck right now as needing a motor and yes this one can possibly be repaired but we had lost our mechanic and we are way to busy to have this one looked at or repaired. This is a no reserve auction so the last bidder owns it, our loss is your gain. We can load on any truck or trailer that one may have. The truck MUST be towed, we don"t think it will go far in the condition. Payment due within three days of auctions end.
