2008 Ford F550 Super Duty Diesel Flatbed Rollback Tow Truck With Wheel Lift.
I am a full- time fireman and on my days off an owner/operator of a very small tow company. My co-worker at the fire station was the original owner of this truck, I bought it from him in 2010.I"ve decided it"s time to slow down, so I"m closing the business and selling the truck. VERY LOW MILEAGE due to the fact this was a very part-time side business.
THE BODY: The interior and exterior are in very good condition, normal wear. The exterior has some minor dings as seen in photos (bumper cover and wheel covers). Cab has tinted side and rear windows. Scanner will be sold with the truck and stay installed on dash. I also have an engine tuner display installed on dash. The interior is in beautiful condition and super clean. I had a 50-gallon saddle fuel tank installed on the passenger side, and with a flip of a switch, fuel is transferred to the main tank. We installed grill and side LED strobe lights.
THE ENGINE: 6.4L Twin Turbo Diesel. I had River City Diesel and Midwest Truck and 4WD install an EGR delete kit, which included installing stainless steel heavy wall up-pipes. They also installed a Spartan Diesel Technologies Phalanx Tuner. This engine is a beast, and fuel mileage is near 12 miles per gallon now.
THE BED: There is normal expected rust to the 19" steel bed. Pylon and side rails are sanded and painted each year. The winch is wound with 100" of corded steel. Wheel lift fully functional but not used much. There are two side utility boxes for storage. There is a LED light bar installed on the bed.
