08 Sterling Bullet (same as Dodge Ram 5500)
190k miles, runs and drives great. Engine very smooth, no blow by, turbo spools well, trans shifts good, the rollback bed and wheel lift all work perfectly and smooth. Everything in good shape. Just drove it 500 miles with zero issues. Averaged about 13 MPG.
Jerr-Dan 19ft Aluminum Rollback bed- no visible leaks anywhere, works great.
The bad: 1- passenger mirror has a small chunk missing from it. Works perfect and doesn"t shake. 2- there was a check engine light on when I fired it up the first time due to a very low battery. It"s been charged and holds a great charge. Also said something about EGR. Hasn"t come back yet but I will continue to drive the drive and use it daily and will update. 3- tear in driver seat and seats in general have stains. I think a detail might clean them right up. Rest of interior in nice shape. 4- steering a tiny bit of play in it. 5- tires have good tread on them, but are worn on edges. Typical tow truck wear. 6- one toolbox is missing a door and the other has a bad/broken latch.
This is a good truck. Clean title in hand. If I can"t get good money out of it, I will definitely keep it.
