For Sale is a 2008 Workhorse Step Van. It has been used at FedEx Ground. It has an automatic transmission and has the VT275 4.5 engine. We have all the service records. It has close to 250K on it. The following are some of the services that were performed on this vehicle: 01/21/2014 replaced both steer axle springs $470.00, replaed HEUI pump $832.50, Replaced four u bolts $20.50, replaced five injectors $1,750.00 (number 5 was changed in July), 11/25/2014 replaced IPR Regulator $306.50, 02/20/2015 replaced alternator $250.00, 06/05/2015 replaced front bumper brackets $203.21, 07/02/2015 replaced left side valve cover $574.20, replaced breather kit $93.90, 08/20/2016 replaced IPR regulator 281.90, Heavy duty fuel pump $955.50, 10/13/2015 replaced exhaust piping $1,425.00, Replaced one fuel injector $280.15, 11/16/2015 replaced the drive belts $56.19, 12/01/2015 replaced Brake pad 218.20, replaced both turbos $2,805.00 (these are practically new). Our mechanic changes the oil and PMs the trucks in a timely matter. We are asking $5,900.00 or best offer for this truck engine and all the newish parts on it. Great deal the body is aluminum and probably would bring $2,500-$3,000 for scrap. It developed a knock in the engine, so our mechanic tore it down and found that the crank had broken. The engine also had a lot of blow by and was ready for an overhaul. We have purchased a larger truck and no longer need this one. FedEx calls this truck a P700 Step Van. If you are not a Fedex contractor we will have to paint over the decals. The truck is in Knoxville, TN 37915. The driver really liked this truck because of the turning radius and easy in and out of the truck. The truck is approximately 23 foot long from bumper to bumper. The cargo area is around 18 foot long with the barn doors in the back and a sliding bulkhead door up front. It has a key FOB that unlocks the doors. The engine is out of the truck so it will have to be towed or pulled. The mechanic may be interested in replacing the engine if you want him to. However, as you can see there are a lot of new parts on this vehicle so you could part it out if that is what you decided to do. If you would like more information please ask.
