This is a wonderful 2009 Ford F550 4x4 diesel truck with under 62,000 miles. I purchased this truck for my business in 2010, at that time it only had 17,000 miles.
I an annual inspection completed last year and just haven"t been using the truck since I purchased a larger Elliot type truck, so it"s time to have this truck move on and make someone else a lot of money. I am an electrical and sign contractor, so it"s perfect for that type of work or anything else that needs a ladder or a F550.
I set this unit up with boxes and hydraulic outriggers in the back that run off an electric motor, not manual ones like most trucks like this have. This is much quicker and easier to set up and start working.
Ladder info: Sponco 55" ladder with remote control at the basket as well as at the control station base. Build date was in 2000, but the unit runs very well and is easy to work on. I replaced the turn motor this year and had the drive motor rewound a 2 years ago. The unit runs off batteries which are off the engine running.
The truck is a 2009 Ford F550 4x4 Super Duty. This really is one of the best commercial trucks on the market, as anybody knows, Ford makes the best work trucks on the market. This one is an XL package with the vinyl floor and the seats as well. No rips in the seats and it"s very clean inside for a work truck. Non smoker as well. Has under 62K miles and it"s ready to go, had an annual inspection last year but it"s due soon. It"s and automatic with overdrive and cruise control.
The bed is 16" 6 long and 8" wide, steel and very heavy duty.
Body has a couple small dents but for age and use is very clean and looks very professional and ready to work. Diesel runs great and has a ton of power and torque.
I had to remove the rear fuel tank to install the ladder, so it"s only has one tank. I do have the old tank, so if someone wants to remove the ladder that is possible and they could reinstall the tank.
I purchased the truck from IAA and hired the company to rebuild it, it was damage in the front and no air bags deployed. I purchased in 2010 so the radiators, intercoolers, tranny cooler and oil cooler were all replaced with new. I have the receipts for the work and the materials purchased for the truck.
I am willing to sell the truck without the ladder and outriggers as well if that"s desired. It"s hard to find a 4x4 F550 with this low miles and for this price point. Yes it"s a rebuilt title but it"s a great truck and ready to work.
Tires are in great condition along with brakes as well.
