I averaged 7.3 mpg local driving short runs with a light foot. Truck got extremely good mpg!! This is the best detroit engine for mpg. Many say this was the best enginte detroit produced!!!

New Air Dryer, New valve adjustment, Oil changes every 12,000 miles.
Just passed 6 month inspection and was DOT inspected along our local day route just a few weeks ago and passed squeaky clean!! Truck is a good truck!!

The hood was taken off and when put back on before I bought the truck. The torsion bars for the spring assist was not installed right. So the hood is a heavier than normal. I can still easily lift the hood by myself...also, the sleeper does not have everything hooked up. Mechanically the truck is sound.
The sleeper was added on as truck was originally a day cab. Truck is not perfect cosmetically, little things here and there, but looks good!
