*** This truck has had the emissions programming deleted from the ECM. Keep that in mind when considering this truck.
I did not do it. It was done before I owned it. All parts including DPF can and EGR valve are still intact.
The EGR valve appears to be newer, but the DPF/DOC can may have been hollowed out. I did not open it up.
I also removed the exhaust stack and ran the exhaust under the truck, but I do still have all the parts for the stack.
This truck was originally a PRIME truck.
Truck is a 2009 Peterbilt 387 with a 10 speed Eaton transmission and a Cummins ISX 455hp CM871 engine.
I have a clear title in hand. All stickers, numbers and company name will be removed before purchase.
Truck has about 1,128,500 miles.
This truck needs the engine to be overhauled.
The exhaust valve seals are leaking a little, but I"m pretty sure that it has a bad oil ring on one of the pistons.
I used the engine brake at an offramp getting off the freeway one day, and from that moment on it started blowing some smoke out of the exhaust when stepping on the accelerator.
It does still run and drive fine, but I wouldn"t haul anything with it until the problem gets fixed.
We"ll start with what it needs...
The rear sleeper heat/AC blower motor needs to be replaced.
Rear drive axle shocks need to be replaced.
Turbo might need to be replaced or rebuilt. Has very little oil leaking from either faceplate or shaft seal on intake side.
Engine fan hub needs to be replaced. Works, but will slip and squeal if wet or if you run through a dusty gravel parking lot.
There is no mattress on the top bunk. The bottom mattress is about two years old.
The good...
The transmission and driveline are in great shape.
I just replaced the king pins, front axle spring bushings, front shocks. All of the front suspension is good and new.
I do have new tie rod ends, but have not installed them. Will need an alignment anyway after replacing all the suspension parts.
Also have new cab/sleeper shocks in the box.
Also have a new thermostat and thermostat housing seal/gasket in the box.
Front tires are brand new.
Rear tires have about 70-80% left.
Front brakes are brand new.
Rear brakes are 80-90%
Power divider to lock both rear drive axles.
Front wheel bearings and seals are fairly new.
Radiator and all radiator hoses are new.
First two Fuel Injectors are new. (installed by JX Peterbilt, Oak Creek, WI)
Passenger side headlight assembly is new.
New LED headlights.
Also has two 6 and one 18 LED fog lights in the bumper that are very bright.
Has a 24 LED work light in the rear.
Has LED strobes on the front grill and on the sides of the truck.
New Drivers seat. (Seats Inc. Legacy Silver - microfiber)
Exhaust downpipe is new.
All batteries are new, including one battery under bed.
Turn signal switch/lever is new.
Clutch was recently adjusted and is still in good shape.
Fifth wheel plate was replaced about a year and a half ago and always kept very greased.
Has a large refridgerator with seperate freezer door and microwave.
Has 24 Vizio tv.
Has aftermarket Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth.
Has a Cobra 29LTD CB Radio with Firestick antenneas.
Has full gauge package plus aftermarket LED drive axle load gauge.
Has passenger side warning radar that alerts you if someone is on your right side when you turn on the turn signal.
Has a 2000 watt inverter.
Also has aftermarket rear fenders/mudflaps with six revolution LED lights that are very bright and the four inside lights turn to a very bright white when in reverse. The LED lights alone are about $45 a piece at Iowa80 Truck Stop.
This truck has a Thermoking APU that does run good. The A/C does not work and needs a few things to make it work again.
I got a quote from a Thermoking dealer saying it would cost about $1600 just for the A/C. That price does include installation.
Also have still in the box a full filter kit for oil change... Including glow pin screen for the bunk heater, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter.
It has a full size side box on the drivers side and smaller half size on the passenger side.
The truck is fully set for pulling a flatbed... Headache rack, 10 chains/binders, winch bar, 18 4 straps, seven 2 straps, about 40 11 strap protectors, over 100 bundee cords, 4" tarp (good shape), 1 6" tarp (ok shape), 1 6" tarp bad shape... also includes a roll of vinyl and vinyl glue for patching holes in tarps... And there"s more but am forgetting.
I"m sure there"s more that I"m forgetting, but if you have any questions go on and ask them.
Also keep in mind... Most used trucks you find on the internet WILL have a problem that the seller may or may not tell you about.
I am listing everything on this ad as best as I can and to my full knowledge.
