Up for sale is a 2009 Sterling Acterra cab and chassis. The unit has a 7.2L Mercedes Benz diesel motor with a 5 speed Allison automatic transmission. It has approx 153,377 miles on it. Just came out of service from a large municipality where it was serviced regularly. Chassis starts right up and drives great. No dash warning lights( no check engine, ABS, airbag light ). Oil changes and services were all done according to Sterling preventative maintenance program. It does not leak any fluids. Some of the options on this unit are front AC, radio, practically brand new tires, 6 - 19.5 alcoa aluminum wheels, and brand new batteries. Would make a great service truck / tow truck / great hot shot hauler. Unit GVW is 24,500 lbs. The unit has air brakes – CDL required.
