2009 Volvo VN day cab truck 720k miles d-13 405 hp straight 10 speed 12.5k front -- 40k rears gets GREAT fuel mileage!!!
I bought it June of 2017
Since then, I"ve done the following work to it: (and have paperwork for all of it)
new clutch in September, 15k miles ago $2500
virgin tires all the way around in September, less than 10k miles on them now $3000
6 new injectors and injector cups (the steel ones, NOT copper) and overhead ran in October, less than 15k miles ago $8000 The injectors and cups were done at a Volvo dealership so they carry a nation wide 12 month warranty on that work, servicable at any Volvo dealership. But since I took the copper cups out and replaced with steel, this thing shouldn"t give problems for many years.
The reason I"m selling is because I pretty much outgrew the truck.
My customers kept sending me farther and farther out, more and more runs, so it got the the point where i just needed a sleeper truck. So December 2017, I bought one, so it"s time for me to let this one go. Was going to put a driver in it, but just couldn"t find enough work to keep him busy.
I paid $16,500 for this thing not counting regular maintenance, I"ve sunk $13,500 into it to boot
my loss, is your gain!
Don"t make the same mistake as me and buy one of the hundreds of Volvo day cabs for sale at Volvo dealerships across the country, just to have to turn around 3 months later and sink $8000.00 for new injectors and cups!!
