I have decided to sell this truck and replace it with an extended cab. It is in extremely good condition. All of these pictures were taken just a couple days ago. Except for the last one which I will explain later.
I have owned this truck for about 3 years. I am the second owner. In April of 2016 the truck started to have a loss of power. I took it to the Freightliner dealer. They replaced the Turbocharger, Actuator, cleaned the egr valve and system, replaced the particulate filter, some front end work and a whole bunch of other expensive little things. The total bill was $8821.02. This was all about 50k miles ago.
The last picture shows where there was some damage to the right front fender. This was about a year ago. The hood and bumper had to be replaced. I had them repaint both doors at that time so there wouldn"t be any color difference. The right front rim was scratched so I had all 4 Aluminum Rims replaced. I also replaced the doors on the all stainless steel boxes. Both headlights so they would match. The truck basically looks brand new. This work was done at the frieghtliner dealership with a bill of $16,541.37. This was about 15k miles ago.
Last July the transmission was acting up. We brought the truck to an Allison transmission dealer. They replaced the TCM, some wire harnesses, seals, filter and fluid. With a Bill of $2490.83. The problem was resolved though that repair is warrantied for several more months at any Allison dealer.
Somewhere along the way we replaced the cushion and the cover to the drivers seat with all parts directly from the Freightliner dealer.
The truck is currently on a Maintenance program that is controlled by a system in the office. So when an oil change is due or a filter needs replacement it never gets missed. We are very big on maintenance and using quality products on our trucks.
Front and rear brakes have less than 10k miles on them. Front tires are 95% rear tires are 50%. The fronts were wearing funny so I recently had it aligned and the fronts replaced. Batteries were replaced last summer. Since I have owned it I have put a water pump, tensioner and belt on it. Also replaced the fan clutch somewhere along the way.
The Body is a 21 foot Miller with a weight rating of 10k. Has a stationary headboard and a 8k Ramsey wireless winch. Which the winch was replaced 9 months ago with a brand new one. It has a 75" self locking cable that is in excellent condition. Unfortunately the remote has been misplaced. So it is not included. A replacement is about $300.00. I will order another one for you if you would like though its not included in the auction being I don"t have it in hand. The Body also has a standard wheel lift. Not sure of the exact rating somewhere between 3200 and 3600 lbs I think. I will include a set of chains, bridal, straps, fire extinguisher and triangles.
There are no check engine or warning lights current on the truck. Only things that need attention. There is a slight air leak coming from one of the blocks above the rear axle. The windshield was replaced last year and a rock has cracked it. It needs to be replaced. Safe-lite charged me $285.00 to install a new one. I can have it replaced before you pick up the truck or you can do it on your own. If I have it done for you it would be additional to the auction.
This truck has a lot of new parts on it. I am sure I have missed something though I hope this is thorough enough to see how great this truck is.
I have not used the truck in 2 months being I got the extended cab. The mileage may be slightly different being it is still registered and insured. Though I don"t think it will be used before the auction ends.
