2010 Horton type III Ambulance. Built on the Chevrolet 3500 chassis equipped with a 6.6L Duramax diesel and Allison Transmission. This vehicle is in excellent working order and ready to go into service immediately. It has been completely detailed inside, outside on the roof and underside and engine compartment. All insignia from the previous hospital has been removed. The vehicle is extremely clean and new looking. We did leave the reflective blue wrap on the cab and lower body on the rear of the vehicle. It is very expensive wrap and my thought were to leave it on for the next owner who may or may not be able to use it.
All systems work and were in service as of 60 days ago. I have driven this ambulance for 100 miles and the Engine and all drivetrain are in great working order, it does everything its supposed to do like it is a new vehicle. Please contact me to set up an appointment to inspect and check all systems pertaining to the Chevrolet side and Horton manufacturing side of this Ambulance. It is equipped with every system you need to serve your department or business with a outstanding reliable and clean ambulance. Oxygen, power inverter with 110V/12V in and outside, blanket warmer, refrigerator, chassis mounted Air conditioning ""not roof air"", plenty of Lighting on the interior and exterior that all works great. The ambulance box also has tons of storage inside and out and is all clean and ready to go. ...
As for driving this ambulance, it drives like a new vehicle and is incredibly easy to maneuver. A little history on this ambulance. . It started service in 2011 and was used by Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota Florida to transport patients from other hospitals that required intensive care transportation at Sarasota Memorial . This ambulance was marked intensive care unit when we acquired it.
