Bought truck in September 2014 and ran until August of 2017. Ran the truck four days a week hauling lumber and alfalfa mainly. Parked it on the weekends. Truck was never idled overnight and has 14581 hours on the motor. I am in rural NM and could meet on 1-10 between Las Cruces and Lordsburg, or on I-40 between Albuquerque and Gallup.
The parts replaced were the oil cooler, egr cooler, air compressor, and rear end suspension, as well as minor parts like brakes, drums, air bags etc. All work was done by a certified mechanic and all documentation is available upon request. Tires are at 80% on the drives and Steers are around 50%. The king pins are showing some play and that was my next major repair had I stayed in the business.
The trailer is all aluminum with lots of arch left on it. Most of my loads were one way and I came back empty more often than not. No cracks, but some of the boards will need to be replaced. The rail does have a few dings from not so careful forklift drivers! Trailer is around 9k pounds empty. Truck and trailer net weight are 29,500 with full tanks of fuel. I also have a 3 foot hay extender that I can include with the trailer. It will need a new mesh screen.
The AC condenser on the APU is out. I have the replacement part and will include that with the truck. Heater works great on the APU.
