Improvements: New floor, 2 windows with screens that open and close, insulation, opening between cab and box so you can walk from inside cab to box area.
The interior and cab are clean.
There is a heavy duty metal ramp on the outside of the back of the truck that pulls out.
Excellent engine runs great.
Truck needs a brake job.There is a hairline crack on the upper part of the windshield that runs across it. It is high up and does not interfere with your vision. I have been driving it like this for 3 years. It has never gotten any worse.
For the 4 years I have owned the truck, I did not use it for hauling,only for short trips around town for shopping and errands only, so there has been no wear on the vehicle for hauling, during this time.
When I bought it, it had 119,000 miles on it. It now has 130,787 miles on it.After I purchased it from Penske Truck, had it inspected by a private truck mechanic, and had Penske Truck make the repairs that were needed on it.
I had the ceiling light inside the box disconnected. It is not needed because the fiberglass roof makes the inside of the truck box stay very bright. Sometimes these lights don"t turn off, and they can run down the battery, so I had it disconnected.I detached the console from inside the cab so I could have room to move my legs around to the middle of the cab and get into the box through the entrance that I made. The console reattaches easily with clips. The entrance can easily be closed off again.
