This fine running ambulance is priced for less than what the McCoy Miller Medium Duty BOX sells for...NO RESERVE SALE! I get a lot of questions on how long the engine will last--but I have no ability to see into the future, nor does ANYBODY when a used vehicle motor is involved. But try some common sense--in a worst case scenario, a complete brand new engine costs about $12,000 and this vehicle sells new for about $175,000+...if you get a year out of it or five years, there is NO WAY to lose with this truck! I doubt the car that you drive is PERFECT--so please, try to use some common sense. You are invited to send a mechanic of your choice, at your expense to check this vehicle out BEFORE bidding--that"s the smartest way to buy a vehicle long distance. But for this stupid LOW price, well...you simply can"t lose. If you want a NEW one, you know what they cost. These types of ambulances are listed on sites like Ambulance Trader for up to around $50,000+ and you should probably know that, if you simply take the time to look.
Medium Duty rated, overall EXCELLENT condition for the super low price, used primarily by EMS and Paramedics on campus of NC State University by Wake County (Raleigh, NC). Original owner. Current inspection and fully serviced including replacement of all three batteries.
Ice cold A/C, automatic ALLISON transmission, NON-CDL in NC, GVWR 20,000; White International DuraStar cab; tandem rear wheels (all tires with excellent tread); Certified Star of Life, KKK certification, all lights and sirens function properly.
160 box with four (4) jump seats in the rear including one child restraint seat built in, all cabinets fine, floor locking mechanism for stretcher, built in power inverter and rear external auxiliary power ports; all factory computer updates current, NO LEAKS of any fluids, Allison automatic is silky smooth; AM/FM/CD stereo and backup camera; only component missing is actual radio main frame and rear intercom, which was a part of the radio (by law has to be removed prior to public sale). Air suspension front seats, too.
New filters and fresh oil change in the twin TURBO Maxxforce V8 diesel engine and brand new front tie rod ends; NO exhaust issues. No white or black or gray smoke visible from the exhaust at idle or while running and the on board computer system reads near factory compression. Starts in seconds. NO RUST. This is a used vehicle with 123,000+ miles so don"t expect it to be brand new--but runs fine. If you want a NEW one, they are $100,000.00+ more. Clear NC title. It has been sitting up for a while but there is plenty of life left in this one, and it has been fully inspected and serviced!
This unit also has a draw-tite type hitch system beneath the fold up rear bumper so auxiliary equipment (generators, boats, etc.) can be towed.
You are welcome to send a certified mechanic of YOUR choice and at your expense to check it out in any reasonable manner including a road test PRIOR TO BIDDING OR AUCTION END--it is currently licensed, inspected, registered and tagged.
In addition to the above mentioned services performed, it also was taken to the local authorized White"s International Truck dealership for a full evaluation and to clear and reconcile any fault codes. The on board filter cleanliness test was done three times, which brought the soot level down to 1% (factory new). You are welcome to inspect this fine vehicle in any reasonable way PRIOR to winning the auction--if you are serious, you will come look in person or send a representative.
The custom top end McCoy Miller (SJC) box is near flawless and has no specific unit or group painted emblems or decals to remove. A few very minor dings and dents are present and the front seats have wear from climbing in and out, but that is about it for any type of damage.
The ambulance is currently advertised locally at $32,000 or best reasonable cash offer so the auction may be cancelled if a local sale is completed. This vehicle cost well over $175,000++ new--and is in near PERFECT overall condition! NO RUST, FRAME or BOX DAMAGE or CORROSION anywhere--beautiful paint and decals. Original matching box to truck chassis.
$500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit required via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end.
Balance to be paid via bank check or wire within 72 hours of auction end, which MUST clear before title is transferred or vehicle is removed from premises, NO EXCEPTIONS.
SOLD AS-IS, WHERE IS, with NO warranty expressed or implied. All sales FINAL. Vehicle must be fully paid for within 72 hours of auction end. Buyer may have up to 15 days after auction end to arrange transport or pickup--vehicle can be driven anywhere but you must bring your own license tags. Seller accepts NO liability for storage on site but will be kept in a gated area.
