Thank you for looking at our truck. You are bidding on today a 2012 International Prostar with a little over 300,000 miles on it. This truck does in fact have the Maxxforce 13 engine which has had all of the updates done to it. We have had EGR coolers replaced, Turbo and recently the fuel pump was replaced. We have the DPF and DOC cleaned every 6 months. We have 4 of these trucks and have them all on the same schedule as far as cleaning the DPF and DOC. Also, the after treatment fuel injector has been replaced. This truck has a 10 speed transmission and Full locking rearends. so getting stuck in jobsites just never happens. Tires are at least 60% and engines are serviced every 15,000 miles. Now that"s about the engine and now on to the truck. These prostars are so nice. they are quiet inside, smooth ride and comfortable. This truck has the No idle system for heating and cooling without running the engine. There is also a refrigerator in the bunk. I think one of the coolest things about these trucks is the fact that because of the no idle system it has 8 batteries. You heard me right, 8 batteries and a load shedding breaker. So if you sleep all night long and the batteries begin to weaken, this breaker will begin to shut things down on the truck so the most important thing will always happen. The truck will always start!!
Tilt and telescoping steering wheel with all of the controls for cruse and jake brake on the stearing wheel at your finger tips. Power locks and windows.
All around with all the updates we"ve done to the engine and the low mileage This will be a great truck for whoever gets it without having to go through all the struggles of the maxxforce engine without all the updates. Just as an FYI the reserve price is quite a bit lower than the buy it now. However the buy it now is a very fair price! Good luck and happy bidding!
