This truck was built with 2 things in mind – hard work and the ease/comfort of the operator. It has many features that I will get into momentarily. Let’s start off with the chassis itself.
2013 RAM 4500 QUAD CAB – yes 4 full doors which is great. It allows you to transport customers easily and for the operator to move the seat back and stretch out on those long hauls. The vehicle has full power – locks, mirrors, and windows. The seats are in terrific shape – and as you can see are just covered up by the previous owner to allow years of extended life. Please note that there are 3 small dings on the entire vehicle. One is in the driver’s side front door. One is on the step bar of the driver’s side and the final one is on the passenger side over the top of the rear door. I took pictures of the first two dings but the last one was not showing up on my camera but it roughly the size of a quarter.
The wrecker has the legendary Cummins motor in it. 6.7 Liters (800 pounds of torque) of nothing but pure strength and power. Plenty needed for pulling a vehicle on its stinger or pulling someone out of the ditch. This beast of a motor has its power planted through an Aisin automatic transmission and finally through a set of like new 225/70/19.5 tires wrapped around a set of Alcoa aluminum wheels. Let’s not forget either – this is a 4x4 and only has 66,121 miles!!!!
