2014 E350 with a Reading Utility Aluminum Utility body that is 10" from cab to doors and has stainless steel paddle locks.
I bought this truck at the end of 2014 to be my LAST work truck. 10 years and I was done. We can make all the plans we want, but things change.
The van is as close to new as you can get without actually buying a new one which is $40k plus. As soon as I bought the van, I had the bumper and rear area below back doors sprayed with bed coating, dual exhaust installed, tinted the windows, installed auto vent shades and running boards with splash guards.
From dealer I had the hitch and brake controller installed as well as an aluminum ladder rack that drops to the side of the van for easy access and auto locks ladders in place. The rack is hydraulically assisted.
I could not see having an aluminum bed and then installing a steel rack that would rust down onto the aluminum.
There is absolutely no damage or rust on this van or body. There could be some small light scratches from branches up high, but after detailing those should be gone. The pics are before cleaning up and it had just rained on it before I removed my logo from the side.
Van has been kept in shop and regularly washed/waxed. Paint shines like day one.
Van box is equipped with central (one button) electronic locking and an alarm system. It can be set to lock as you walk away and unlock as you approach or you can use it as I did with locking and unlocking controlled by the push button. There is also key override to each box to manually lock and unlock.
There are some little extras that I installed for more storage that can be utilized or removed. I have installed foam bottoms in the boxes for protection of the van body and the tools.Each box has an independent light that automatically comes on when opened.
At 6000 miles I installed synthetic fluids throughout and a KN air filter. There is also an extended 12V (3 receptacle) unit in the first box on passenger side for chargers or whatever you may use. The next oil change is 2000 miles away.
The ONLY negative I can think of on the van currently is the wear on the driver"s seat (from my fat a$$) from entry and exit. It has no wear through. ...it is just collapsed somewhat.
Van has tons of power and handles very well. Easy to maneuver.
Tires are the winter ones. They are Cooper and have about 17K on them so plenty of life left. I have a summer set as well on aluminum aftermarket rims (will sell with van for additional $500)
Van does about 12 to 14 mpg depending on load and driving habits.
Cargo area is 10" in length. There is an access door from the cab to the cargo area. 2 interior (switched) lights in the cargo area.
I have clear title in hand as well as all of the books for the bed/alarm system. 2 keys with fobs and 2 alarm fobs as well with manual keys for boxes.
You will not be disappointed in MY van. I have been the sole owner, driver, and user from day one. I am taking this week to get cleaned up from top to bottom.
I am going to list it for sale locally as well.
