1997 Chevy 3500HD Jerr Dan Wrecker. 94,713 ORIGINAL MILES. I"m the second owner, the first was the US Post Office. I owned it for about 3 years, the truck has a 6.5 diesel motor with automatic trans. the motor runs great. I would take this truck cross country without thinking twice. Since i have had the truck, I replaced the front tires, rear brakes and axle seals, front brakes, new a/c compressor, new cable, new cross bar on the wheel lift, new glow plugs, new egr valve. The wrecker body is aluminum, the boom is a 20,000lb boom that extends.The tow truck works and drives great. I basically used it for local police tows. I replaced it with a new truck and don"t have a need for it anymore. the truck dosen"t burn any oil. the oil cooler lines do leak a little bit, but it has been that way since i got it. the wrecker body has a side box on each side and a tunnel box- all doors work. Interior is in fair condition, the seat has a couple small holes starting. the doors on the truck have rust on the bottom. Fly in and i"ll pick you up.
