1984 GMC 6500/7000 18 FT BOX TRUCK NEEDS WORK, this truck should be considered strictly for restoration of parts, here’s what I know about it the motor itself and transmission are excellent however the previous owner decided to take the carburetor off and manual fuel pump, and as a result it will need work in the fuel system department. The right tank is not hooked up either. The body is decent for the age however there is chicken wire where the windows for driver and passenger doors are the interior will need overhauling as the dash has been taken out and severely cracking. The truck is structurally good and does have an electric liftgate tires all hold there and look decent aside from the right front tire which will need to be replaced ASAP. I have a clean title in hand, and odometer states 68,000 what appears to be original miles. The motor is a 6 L gas 366, which is a newer motor.Previous to the carburetor being taken off truck truck ran down the road very well.Please be aware there are several new and used mattresses in the rear of the box truck those will be up to the buyer to dispose of.Basically what I’m saying is I’m fed up with the truck I need it moved ASAP.Unfortunately I’m not a mechanic so this is why I’ve listen this as a severe restoration project or parts truck
