International 9400 (1993)

This truck is a 3,000 gallon water tanker. It has 2 water spouts on the front, 2 spouts in the rear, and one side blast off of the drivers side (see pictures). The truck is a 1993 International 9400 with a Cummins motor. The motor is strong and is fully functional. It has a 9 spd. Eaton Fuller transmission which shifts smoothly. The truck itself travels down the road with ease loaded or not. It has plenty of power to handle the full load of water. All tires have at least 80% tread. The water tank is baffled and made out of heavy duty steel. The water pump is PTO driven and is very strong. All plumbing is steel pipe and has a hook up in the back of the tank to fill from the top of the tank. Along with the 5 spouts it also has a dump valve in the rear of the tank. All spouts and dump valve are air actuated valves. The interior of the truck is in fair condition. Some of the upholstery has pulled away from the lower dash and there are a couple of air vents that need replacement. There is an issue with the air conditioner keeping it from cooling, but could probably be fixed easily. The heater was operational last winter. About two years ago we painted the exterior of the truck and tank black, and we also cleaned the interior of the tank thoroughly and painted it with a high solids epoxy paint to prevent rusting. We have owned this truck for several years, but have not used it much for the last year and a half. We no longer perform work that requires us to haul water.
