Just in time for the summer fire season, I have a nice low mileage 1987 E-One GMC Sierra 3500 One-Ton Dually 4x4 Mini-Pumper / Type-6 Wildland Engine for sale, its a classic square body! This unit was built by E-One to serve as an ARFF Quick Attack unit at a small local airport, it has been meticously maintained over its life. The unit was updated by a local fire department in 2018 to serve as a brush unit. 7.4L (454ci) gasoline engine, 4-barrel carb, 4 speed manual transmission (L, 1, 2, 3, R), transfer case with front locking hubs. Two bucket seats, a center console with Federal signal controller and siren speaker, electrical toggle switches, pressure gauges and water and foam level indicator lights. Two in-cab 12V spotlights, six new traction / mud tires, stored in a heated apparatus bay all its life. Recent 2021 repairs include the following new items, projection 12V high/low beam headlights, 12V battery, power steering pump, brake master cylinder and brake hydro boost. Only 17,381 original miles, for its age this vehicle is in great overall condition.
Custom rear E-One aluminum fire body, Chelsea PTO 400 GPM Hale centrifugal fire pump, drivers side pump panel with pressure and suction gauges, rpm gauge, hand throttle, hand valves, FEECON foam controller, water and foam level indicator lights. 2 ½” pump panel discharge and a 2 ½” pump panel intake. Rear 2 ½” direct tank fill intake. Top mounted electric Hannay 1” booster reel with 200’ of redline hose and a nozzle. FEECON around the pump foam proportioner, 16-gallon stainless steel class A foam tank, 150-gallon stainless steel water tank. The unit has a great ground clearance, including its angle of approach and angle of departure for its off-road pump and roll capabilities. The rear hose bed can hold 300’ of 3” hose. Two “lighted” side compartments on each side, one large rear compartment. A fire pump plumbing access door is located on the officer’s side.
Extended front bumper with tow hooks, Ramsey 12,000 LB, two speed electric bumper mounted winch with remote control. Red LED light bar with Red LED emergency lighting on the front, sides and rear of the vehicle. White 360 degree LED scene lighting, front, rear and on both sides. Reflective side striping, Red and Yellow reflective NFPA 704 rear chevron. Onboard La Marche Constavolt 110V to 12V battery conditioner / charger.
