The real value of the vehicle is the crane and the servicebody. All storage compartments work and most lock I think there is two without locks.
The back work bench rear bumper has a hidden storage areafor chains.
The crane has remote cable and will rotate 360 degrees go upto approximately 18 feet and has hoist and boom up and down functions. It has abuilt in vise work bench rear bumper.
It is great for pulling engines and or working on heavy equipmentetc.
It has been used sporadically for the past 5 years up tillthen it was used quite a bit more. Before my Dad passed away in 2009 he hadsome years prior ran an on the spot service for large lift trucks and logloaders and such.
The truck part needs some brake work on the front as itpulls very badly to the right when you put on brakes. It could also use a setof tires as dry rot is showing. Something has gone amiss with the wiring andthe lights and heater ac fan need rewiring or repaired. Currently has one headlight and all turn signals. The ac compressor needsreplaced and the power steering pump has a leak in it. The crane has a reconditioned regular carbattery in it right now but would operate much better with a marine or rv deepcycle battery. Generally you leave the truck idling when using constantly to keep charge up. I have pondered putting a generator with a battery charger orsimilar type apparatus on it. But never got around to it.
Thought of a couple of other things I wanted to make sure buyer knows. It has a carburator but choke is not hooked up and so in mornings you have to pat the accelator multiple times for cold start after the first start then cranks right up.
The ignition switch has to be turned way over for starting and if you dont feels like it is not working but just have to turn it very far over
Fuel guage is not working and the passenger side tank has leak in the inlet hose so we have only been using hose on the drivers side. Just trying to disclose everything I can think of
Manual outriggers on back. Tire sizes are lt 245 75 r 16
Have added pics of inside work body but does not include anny of the tools in there.
There are I am sure other little things. One window does notroll up down real well, side mirror is broken and so forth. It is after all an86.
I am selling because I would in our current situation use asmall tractor with front end loader and forks much more than I use the crane.Would consider trading for a small tractor with that as well. Must have pto torun a mower behind it.
If someone wants to come from out of town they should likelyplan to trailer it or such because I would not think without fixing some the ofthings mentioned it would be that road worthy. We have been using on our campministry property though it is still registered in Ga with a clear Ga title
