This was our heavy haul truck until 2007 when we got out of the business. It was used to pull our 50 to low-boy. The truck has a 3406B caterpillar (425hp) with an 18 speed eaton fuller transmission, equipped with a wet line and a jake. The clutch switch for the jake sticks, but it is operable. This truck has been parked at my home since 2007 and has not been moved much at all. I typically start it up once a month. I just changed the oil & filter as well as the fuel filters. I put diesel additive in the fuel so it"s still good and clean plus I just added another 20 gallons or so yesterday when I changed out the fuel filters. I also just changed out the fuel transfer pump. This has 24.5 tires all around, and while they look good, but the truck has been sitting for a while. No leaks from the engine, but I can hear a small air leak under the cab. Builds air pressure fine though. Truck will need batteries, and the a/c doesn"t feel like it"s cold enough. I"m sure there are some light bulbs that aren"t working too. The clear coat on the hood and roof is flaking off. You can see it in the pics, but it was raining when I took the pics also. The engine runs great. I included a video of it running. I kept this truck for years thinking at some point I would need it, or maybe I would put a dump body on it, but it"s time to let someone else get some use out of it. The odometer indicates 275,919 but at the bottom it show Kilometers. I don"t see how that can be. The last time I ran the truck it registered as if it were mph. When we bought the truck in 1999 the title showed 152,089 miles but under the remarks it showed not actual mileage. What I do know is that when we bought this truck the company that sold it to us had just rebuilt the engine and gone through the whole rig. We were not a commercial hauling company so we really didn"t use the truck all of the time. It was just used to haul our construction equipment from site to site sporadically. If you need any additional pics let me know. Feel free to ask me questions about the truck if I don"t know the answer I"ll find out. This truck is listed for sale locally, and I do reserve the right to end the sale at any time for a local buyer. You are welcome to come inspect the truck or have your mechanic inspect the truck. When you look at the value of the 3406B motor, the 18 speed transmission, the jake, and the wet line you can see this is priced right. Heck just go price a high pressure fuel pump for the motor. The serial number for the motor is 4MG09100. Also, I do have a video of the engine running, but I haven"t figured out how to put it in the ad.
    Thank you for your interest.
