!993 Ford Altec D945 Derrick/Digger for sale by private owner. Purchased for specific project(s) and now they are through and have no more need for truck. Truck has six brand new tires and six brand new wheels. Unit has a 45 foot boom that can lift 20,000 pounds, upper controls for man bucket, fiberglass man bucket, and attachments for hydraulic tool operation. Digger portion has auger attached to boom that comes with the unit. Four hydraulic stabilizing out riggers. Rotating beacon. LARGE rear mounted winch w/fairlead attached to back of bed. Front winch was removed by prior owner. Transmission is manual with 5 speeds and a two speed rear end. Reverse has back up alarm.
Unit comes with new operation manual and new parts/repair manual from Altec by unit serial number.
Unit has normal wear for 69,000 miles and needs paint, but is presentable in its present state to be used on the job.
Millage is 69,605 miles and believed to be true and accurate miles. Unit starts right up, even in cold weather, and runs well. Truck drives extremely well.
To my knowledge, everything works on the unit, but I have not drilled a hole with the unit as I do not know how to operate the digger portion of the truck. It was sold to me as operatable and I toggled the switches and they worked. I went no further as I did not want to damage anything as costly as repairs are today.
