Up for auction is a 1993 Ford F700 w/45’ Altec digger derrick crane boom truck. It has the ability to be used as a bucket truck with the included pin on fiberglass bucket. The bucket has a manual hand brake for the operator. This will allow you to work 45’ in the air. For operator protection, the last section of boom with the fiberglass bucket attached, is also made of fiberglass. The unit also has upper operator controls. The boom is heavy duty rated with a 20,000 pound lift capacity. Truck also has a heavy duty bed winch with rear mounted fairlead. Get all types of work done with this “all in one” truck.
This truck was purchased through a dealer from the original North Carolina owner and was serviced regularly. The truck has the 5.9L (210 HP) engine that starts right up without a jump, starting fluid, etc. with the twist of the key (even in cold weather). It has 69,605 low miles, new tires and rims all around and is ready to make you money.
Truck has normal wear and tear, surface rust, dings and dents for a 1993, but is a solid southern truck. This truck has a low reserve on it priced well below the high double digit thousands the dealers are asking for newer units. With the low miles and the condition of the truck, it will do the work for many thousands of dollars less.
The truck has the Altec D945, 45’ boom, w/20,000 crane, w/auger, heel winch, pole grab, 3 section hydraulic telescope boom, and 4 heavy duty hydraulic outriggers. All functions to the boom work and are easy to work. The hydraulics is driven from a PTO off the transmission of the truck.
