Here’s an exceptionally clean and well-equipped automated side loader. As the pictures and video illustrate, both the truck and the Automated Side Loader body are in a very clean and straight condition!
A noteworthy feature on this refuse truck is the powertrain! This powertrain is PRE-EMMISSIONS ! NO diesel exhaust fluid buy, NO regeneration cycles to slow you down, NO temperamental (and expensive!) particulate filters to deal with! Just a proven, long lasting, and inexpensive to maintain Cummins 8.3L ISC Turbo Diesel! As you can expect, all the gears on the Allison Automatic Transmission are engaging properly, pulling strong, and shifting smoothly. The truck cruises comfortably on the highway, it rides straight, and the braking is strong. Furthermore, the braking on this truck is complemented by a Thelma induction brake... just a little extra piece of mind for those extra heavy loads!
The cab on this truck is in superb condition. The bodylines are straight, there is not rust or collision damage, and the doors open and close effortlessly. The interior is also just as good! One thing you will notice right away is how nice the cab smells; there is no smoke smell, engine oil smell, or refuse smell. Just a clean, like new cab smell! Aside from some tears on the arm rest area, the seats have no tears, the dashboard has no cracks, the headliner looks like new, and all its glass is flawless! Furthermore, the cab"s Red Dot air conditioner blows very cold... even in Texas triple-digit weather!
This truck features the well-regarded and proven 24-Yard Heil Rapid Rail body and a Python Continuous Packing Automated Side Loader. The Python arm has just been serviced, with new bearings, bushing, seals, and some cylinders repacked! Needless to say, the automated loader is working nicely! The loader arm extends, grips, lifts, and dumps effortlessly; whether on the automated or manual setting. The paddle also swings effortlessly, the bed rises and descends easily, and the hopper opens and closes tight. All the bed indicator switches and lamps are working properly, and the center console and curb loader switches function fine. Furthermore, there are NO HYDRAULIC LEAKS on any of the cylinders!
Note: The red smudges and streaks seen in the pictures are high temperature bearing grease. The complete truck, hopper, and ASL were greased.
