Up for bid is a used 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 cutaway chassis box truck with a Supreme Corporation 12 foot box and a Tommy Gate aluminum hydraulic lift gate. The vehicle has 142,400 miles and is in extremely good condition. The engine is a gasoline powered 6.0 L (366 cubic inch) Vortec V8 rated at 300 horsepower. The truck has dual rear wheels and all six tires are the original size, matching Michelin LTX M/S LT 225/75 R16 radial truck tires with a load range E rating. All six tires have plenty of tread. The Supreme Iner-City box features a white painted aluminum panel exterior and an interior with a laminated hardwood floor, plywood interior sides with four rows of E track and carpeted rails. There is a translucent roof with two overhead lights and at the rear, a Whiting roll up door. The inside dimensions of the box are 139 (11" 9) long, 87 (7" 3) wide and 78 (6" 6) high. The rear door opening is 85 (7" 1) wide and 70 (5" 10) high. The box has a 12 inch long tear on the passenger side. This tear has never leaked and can easily be repaired with an external patch. At the back is a working Tommy Gate aluminum lift gate rated up to 1000 lbs capacity.
The Chevrolet Summit White cab features the optional chrome appearance package with a chrome front bumper and deluxe black and chrome grille with dual composite projector-beam halogen headlamps. Also optional are dual high and low note horns and an under hood light. All these optional items are usually not found on this type of vehicle. The medium pewter gray cloth bucket seats with armrest are in great shape with no rips. Since I needed room for three people, I added a jump seat from a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. It has its own seat belt and is bolted to the floor using grade 8 bolts. It can easily be removed if not needed. The interior has been upgraded with a GM 6 CD changer AM/FM stereo radio, illuminated vanity mirrors on both the driver and passenger sunshades, extra lights in the headliner and a rearview back-up camera. There is a driver side airbag. The air conditioning works well and blows cold.
Mechanically, the box truck has a heavy-duty four-speed overdrive automatic transmission with Tow/Haul mode. There are disc brakes both front and rear with an antilock brake system (ABS). All four brake rotors and brake pads have been replaced with genuine General Motors brake parts by a Chevrolet dealer within the last two years. The top-of-the-line AC Delco battery is also about two years old.
This truck was used for a family-owned pet supply business. This vehicle is clean, has not been smoked in, and has been well maintained. It is located in East Amherst, New York 14051 which is a suburb of Buffalo. It has a current New York State inspection, last having been done in July, 2015. The title is clean and clear (no liens). This truck is a Class 2 (GVW 6001-10,000 lbs) vehicle.
