Don"t spend your summer doing the van build. Just buy this van and be good to go!
Converted to adventure van with bike storage in the back, although could be used for camp/fishing/ski/surf gear. Back storage area can also be removed for anything else you would like. Sink, counter, storage, etc.Able to store 2-3 bikes in the rear (garage) area without interfering with sleeping area.
Bed frame and garage area utilize a custom welded steel framework. It is, by far, the sturdiest frame I"ve ever seen in a van.
Bed frame area is designed to fit eight 18-gallon Rubbermaids underneath it, while four 11-gallon Rubbermaids fit underneath the deck of the garage area.
Bed is designed around my height, which is 6". There is an extension with custom sewn sheets that can also be used to extend the bed if desired.
The floor is highly insulated with R-Max and covered with vinyl that can be removed or replaced at any time.
Walls and ceiling are insulated with wool fiber insulation.
The three-drawer dresser has been removed and a custom-made cubby has been installed, with room underneath it for a cooler. The photos with the white cubby and colorful blankets are the current setup.
Warm LED lights have been installed, which are controlled via remote.
Dual-direction vent fan with thermostat.
Custom-made blackout curtains for the two back windows as well as one separating the cab from the camper area. Back curtains magnet around the window for a perfect fit.
Mattress is included, but I took photos of it without it in order to show the framework in the van.
Bluetooth audio deck with handsfree calling
Hitch receiver installed.
Clean title.
I"ve seen a lot of van builds over the last few years and work in an industry where every third person has a van. I have not seen a single on that has as solid of a construction. Nothing squeaks or moves while driving. Solid. Looking for an adventure van? Experimenting with vanlife? Need a weekend camper rig? Don"t want a massive RV? This is your answer.
