Being relisted due to non paying bidder.Had this awhile.Drove from Iowa to South Florida.Along the way(Georgia) had new fuel pump, carb rebuild kit, modulator installed.Ran GREAT! Those new parts have maybe 600 miles on them. There is a small amount of rust.2 places behind the front tires(both sides).Should be an easy fix. Some rust starting underneath one rear panel in front of the wheel well. What she has:Twin gas tanks controlled electrically from the cab(work great!) Has AC.The previous owner said he recharged it,but I can"t get it to cool,so probably a leak somewhere.Has intercom system which I believe works(I am deaf so would not know anyway) Has an outside electrical hook-up One set of white lights work on one side. The others and the siren were disconnected by law.Has twin searchlights-dont work, maybe disconnected also.Has the 460 4 barrel V8(for a big truck this scoots).Old time drum brakes which take some getting used to.2600.00 worth of custom wheels-tires are nearly new with 85-90% left. They are starting to lose air and will need pumped back up(my pump died).Needs new upholstery all around to be nice.Lots of power to pull boats also(no hitch). It ran GREAT,but will now need new twin HD batteries.Along the way I blew an exhaust gasket also,so that would need replaced because it"s rather noisy. This is technically a CLASSIC,but with a little work could also be put back in service for a town that has a limited budget to work with. With under 36k original miles, she has LOTS of life left.Just hate to see it wasting away in my yard. She deserves someone who will fix her up.Probably needs greased by now.I saw NO leaks underneath. All the cabinetry is still intact and it was built by premier, who doesn"t use JUNK.The boards are solid and heavy(total weight is around 6800 pounds here) All the interior lights work even the overheads.Storage under all seats and the cot type bed in back.Glass in cabinets is also intact.Remember this is a CLASSIC and as such there will be little things to fix.Getting up in age, have 2 more classics to sell, then I plan on downsizing,so there is no more interest for me to fix this up.The radiator doesn"t leak, but the resevoir has a hole in the bottom.A drop of glue would fix that,or just get one at a boneyard.Inside it is 60 inches high.Truck is over all solid, nowhere near a basket case, but an easy resto that someone needs to get started on before she goes away I will answer any questions to the best of my ability. It has a clear IOWA title.I fought for 3 months to get it fixed(it was wrong for 33 years),but never got it titled in FL.My place is tough to get into,so a flat bed with winches would probably do the trick.Until she"s thoroughly checked out,I cannot reco driving this a long way,due to it"s age and from being parked a long time.I can meet you for viewing about any afternoon if you want to look it over.A solid truck you can drive while you are restoring it.Need to move it ASAP as I have others to sell soon.I would recommend you come and look at it,or have someone you know come out,as I may have overlooked a few small details.I did not go over it with a microscope, just describing it as best I can.Not trying to rip off anyone, but your expectations may be different and want you to be happy with it.Do not email me with offers.First Ebay won"t allow it.Second,it"s worth more than this anyway even if you part it out .Once again, being as old as it is and the fact it has sat idle for 2 years,I would not reco driving this a long distance.Best to be put on a flatbed and fixed up when you get it home.I would hate for anyone to break down en route.Due to health concerns,I won"t be able to help physically.I would also reco Truck It Transport as it seems they have trailers to ship it and it would have to be winched.Ask them if they can do that.Vehicle is sold as-is,where is-no warranty expressed or implied.Your bid is a CONTRACT,please do not bid if you don"t intend to pay or follow the directions about placing a small deposit.Solid truck that can be used in a variety of ways.I am DEAF,I cannot CALL you,nor can you call me.Use the Ebay message system to communicate with me.Any variations on payment and/or pick-up,you need to notify me about BEFORE bidding.Ask any questions you need to.NO questions will be answered with 24 hours left,so ask early if you can. Thanks
