About this CNG Powered Setup:
8.1L John Deere 6081H CNG powered. This model CNG engine was derived from a diesel based engine from the ground up
so the high torque # are still there unlike gasoline based conversions.
This is no conversion. It is a true CNG engine and setup. I can"t stress that enough in terms of quality, safety, etc.
In fact this is THE engine model that the NREL focused on during several years of Government trials and studies
in an effort to stay ahead of California and Federal Emissions Standards for large Fleet/Gov"t entities.

On a diesel-gallon-equivalent basis, the John Deere CNG buses exhibited a 9.0% fuel economy improvement compared with the MY 2004 DDC diesel buses
and a 2.9% improvement compared with the MY 2000 DDC diesel buses. . .
It also set the benchmark for lower emissions in real world testing.

Vehicle runs great and shifts smoothly with its push button automatic.
This would make a great service truck as is, or take off the service bed and make an awesome Cab and Chassis hauler.
Drop off the service bed and compressor at the national auctioneer down the road and let them sell it for you!
Either way, CNG is considerably cheaper than diesel in most places, and roughly half the cost of diesel if home filling!
These CNG M2"s are all spec"d the same, previously used by the same company in the same environment,
and the mileage and condition difference between them is negligible for a commercial truck 7+ years old. . .so go for what"s closest to you as transporting can add up.
Also consider my truck has less than 10k per year usage but was used/maintained until 2 months ago vs. some others whom have almost no miles and haven"t run their engine in years. That kind of lower mileage is not ideal!!!
