1986 Peterbilt 359 model is still wearing original paint on frame and cab and engine. That"s right it"s all original paint and no accident history. Low miles for the year at 518k. A very nice unmolested example in above average shape. Local Valley Center, CA truck always kept in town on local deliveries. This truck had one driver at a small retaining wall co. NO Lipstick on this ol girl. Runs Great. 3406B Catepillar Diesel Engine mated to a very quiet 13 speed overdrive transmission. Interior is black peterbilt original pattern and super nice for the year. Not a lot of rattles and squeaks, hence the low miles. New Air bags, tires are new 16 ply up front and a mixture of 75 to 85 percent on the eight rear tires( no weather checking). All gauges function, dash lights, cab lights, turn signals inside and out. Sleeper has new memory foam mattress. Interior in sleeper matches truck as these were born together. Cat motor runs 1200 to 1700 rpm, great low end tourque. No air leaks, most air lines are new, Mr2 valve is new, holland fifth wheel, glass goes up and down effortlessly. All air conditioning original and intact, nds freon. Tanks are 150 on drivers side and 135 on passengers side, 285 gallons total. Motor has no leaks that I"ve found. Truck is dry. Born in sunny California and absolutely NO ROT. Frame is smooth as a baby"s ass. Headliner plastic inside cab needs re painting and possibly the whole truck depending on your taste but it"s only original once, so I left it alone.wheelbase is 230.storage area in sleeper goes all the way across.Dash is real nice, Wiring in this truck is perfect and unmolested. Ammeter replaced with a modern Volt meter and charging system works well. Has 3 batteries on drivers side.Recent oil and filters. I worked this truck yesterday and it will run till it"s sold.
