This Workhorse food truck runs exceedingly well. There is a diesel-powered V-8 engine under the hood. The power steering pump, brake master cylinder, and sway bar were replaced so the truck stops well and is more nimble at maneuvering.
The food truck is ready for food preparation. Included in the kitchen is a new refrigerator, heat lamps, air conditioner, and overhead ventilator all powered by two high-quality generators. The stove top grill and two burners are powered by a propane tank that"s been fitted on the outside of the truck. Inside there"s also a prep table, sanitizing sinks, storage cabinets, and sufficient space for an additional electrical appliance (the oven seen in the photograph isn"t included)
The paintjob is two years old and still looks great (the wheels and silver accents as well) the outside was fitted with steel diamond panels that wrap all around. The assembly that covers the serving window is designed to raise up using a hydraulic cylinder. However, the assembly needs to be propped up by a metal arm that"s included.
There are a few things worth noting: 1. The driver side door is missing the locking mechanism. However, a makeshift lock is installed. The glass on that door is missing and plexiglass is replacing it (it cannot be opened). The plexiglass has a noticible crack but fortunately it can be replaced for a small cost. The actual glass for that door is another story.2. On the plus side, this truck was commissioned by the government for medical aid hence its low mileage. The downside is that sirens and light assemblies were removed after the truck was decommissioned but some parts were left over. While driving you"ll hear various electronic beeping and clicking. There is no cause for alarm because these sounds don"t indicate anything having to do with the present truck. This has been verified by a mechanic.3. There"s a small hole on the back bumper as well as some dents but the bumper was designed to be stepped on anyway. 4. There"s some wear on the tires
