We are selling our 1994 Chevy P30 Dessert Food Truck. It is in great shape and the custom back looks almost as good as when we purchased it. We are only replacing it to maintain the same look as our other food truck which is a sprinter.
The truck has 238,000 miles on its 5.7L engine but it still runs great. We purchased a new battery about 4 months ago and has some minor work done like new spark plugs and valve cover gasket and new fan belt. We also put a new starter on it about a year ago. The only issue mechanically is a short in the blinker switch. The tires and brakes where new about 3 years ago. Truck comes with a passenger seat in the front with seat belt.
The back of the truck includes a big window with serving shelf (not pictured) and a display case built in to display your items. We use it to display the craft sodas we sell. Currently the back has three speed racks that we use for our cupcakes. These can easily be removed and replaced with your equiptment or additional counters. It includes two counters, one is a good size counter in front of the serving window and a second one on the back wall. The truck also includes three sinks and a hand washing sink. Fresh water and waste water tanks as well as a 6 gallon hot water heater. We will also include the True refrigerator which is in good shape and is used every day in our service. We also installed a upright locker for additional storage. There are 4 outlets as well as the electrical box with extra fuse space. The back has overhead floresant lighting. It also includes a AC unit which blows cold air in the summer and has the OPT heat seating to take the chill off during the winter.
Power is supplied to the truck via the installed Generac generator. This is a 4000 watt generator with remote start. The fuel is supplied via the trucks gas tank. No filling up two tanks. We added a smart battery charger to the generator/ battery setup about a year ago so that the battery does not die while you are providing service. We found during day long events we were draining the battery so this fixes the problem as the battery is being charged by the generator during service. The only thing I would change is the cover on the side of the truck does not have a actuator to hold up the door when you need to to maintance. Simple fix! This has been one of our best generators out of all the food trucks we have owned.
What you will need to do is to have the truck re wrapped with your design and add your equiptment and its ready to go. If you have any questions about this truck or the food truck industry as a whole please feel free to send me a message.
