I have a one owner, low mileage 2001 Dodge 3500 (1 ton) Laramie SLT 4x4 Type-6 Wildland Engine / Quick Attack Unit for sale. Excellent ground clearance for pump & roll support. The department I received it from bought it new back in 2001. It was designed as a Command / Initial Attack Unit. It was used as a Type-6 brush truck during the 2017 fire season in Oregon, it was removed from service due to a new unit replacing it. Air Conditioning, Cruise, Tilt, PS, PB, Power Windows, tow package. Nice Red exterior paint, no peeling, fading or flaking. 2 door conventional cab with storage trays behind the front seat, grey cloth seat and grey interior, seating for 3 firefighters. 16” wheels with chrome wheel simulators. 16 traction tires all the way around 50% remaining, the truck has rear duals. 107,000 original miles, rear aluminum tool box & custom aluminum cab steps, also a rear 3" receiver mounted tailboard step. The V10 Magnum motors will run over 200,000 miles with regular maintenance. Annual maintenance and servicing performed on a Fire Dept fleet vehicle cycle, I have the maintenance records. All the glass is great, Dodge Magnum 8.0L V10 gasoline engine, 3 speed Automatic Transmission with OD, 4 position transfer case, bed liner, NFPA baffled 200 gallon poly water tank, with an integrated 5 Gallon Class A foam cell and a integrated 5 gallon Class B (AFFF) foam cell. 13hp Honda electric start engine, 100gpm fire pump, Fire Trol Class A & B foam induction system. Electric hannay booster / live reel. There are tool bracket hangars with rubber bungies on the outside of the water tank on both sides. Kusmal 110V plug in / quick disconnect with an onboard 12V trickle battery charger, 1 set of tire chains. This unit also has a mobile data terminal mount and receiving base in it, it is removable. The first 3 pictures show a 12V red/white lightbar that I will include in this auction, by ebay policy all emergency response equipment has been disabled. I drove this unit home 300 miles on the freeway at 75-80mph, it purred like a kitten. Need’s absolutely nothing, ready to go back in-service tomorrow, protecting your ranch, working as a contract resource or going back into municipal service. This unit has been meticulously maintained, you"d be challenged to find a nicer 2001 4x4 Type-6 Wildland Engine. The rear fire skid unit was $10,000 alone... with my buy it now price you get the truck for free.
