1989 E-ONE Hurricane model heavy rescue truck. I bought this truck from the original owner, Southard New Jersey Fire Dept. She was their heavy rescue command & communications vehicle and was rarely used, as the miles on on her confrim. I bought her and refitted her as a spill response truck.
Features of this truck:1. Powered by strong 6v92 Detroit Diesel, Allison Automatic Transmission. Rear engine diesel pusher design adds a great deal of cabin space.2. Only 21,xxx miles.3. Southard Fire Dept. Installed a new 20k Kohler Diesel generator prior to me purchasing the truck, cost $14,000.00. Only has 175 hours on it.4. I had installed a 9,000 watt Willburt Night Scan light tower. Has six 1,500 watt light heads, three one each side, each side independently controlled by hand held controller. Power rotate the light head also. Pneumatic telescoping tower goes up 15 ft. Has auto stow feature. Cost new, $16,000.005. McDermott arrow board on rear of truck. Folds down when not in use.6. Has a six bottle cascade air system with control panel and two power rewind air reels. 190 ft. of air hose on each reel. Great for air tools.7. Also has a third power rewind air reel with 100+ ft. of air hose that uses the truck air brake air. Work great for air tools too.8. Has three power rewind electric reels with heavy electric cord and four plug boxes with power light on each box. 9. Two manual raise lights on back of truck, 1,500 watts each. Three pocket lights on each side of truck, 500 watts each. Add these to the 9,000 watts on the light tower, this truck has 15,000 watts of light and they can all be run at once. 10. Top of truck also has an 11 ft. Aluminum storage box with doors, great for storing hoses and has a 21 ft. telescoping fiberglass ladder stored on the side of it. There is a plastic storage box up there with a lid and an expanded stainless steel box with straps used for storing boom.11. Installed two 55 gallon water tanks in the engine compartment. Has both gravity feed and a pump powered water discharge hook ups. Great for using a pressure washer at a remote sight.12. Has light bar on front and led strobes on the back. Flashing lights on the sides. 13. Has two rooftop ac units with heat strips that are powered by the generator. She is a great truck and a steal at the starting bid! A bit of history of the rescue truck, she responded to the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center. Only reason I am selling is our business model has changed over the years and I need to tow a trailer more often now. Obviously sold as is where is, you"re welcome to come inspect prior to bidding. $500.00 paypal deposit due within 24 hrs. of auction end, balance due 10 days from that. Cash, paypal, credit card or cash accepted, funds must clear before you take the truck
